About the Founder

Janet Jensen, ACMA, CGMA is the founder and owner of Ekstra Accounting Solutions and is qualified Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA) and accredited Member in Practice (MiP).

Following a varied career over 30 years in the service industry, she set up her own accounting business in 2019 with the simple notion of providing easy, affordable and jargon- less accounting services and solutions to small medium enterprises.

In November 2023 Janet won an award for outstanding achievements in Accounting and Finance.

As a result, I lost my VAT number which meant that my company could not claim any VAT back on imports for about 18 months.
